THE CREATION OF MAN AND HIS DESTINY AS PER THE BIBLE ( An eye opening and well researched study)

Hello all,

A very dear friend of mine and sister in Christ wrote down her thoughts on several issues about our creation (as mankind and individually) as expressed in the Bible. She sent this study to me and I find it both inspiring and truthful and just had to pass it on.

My Thoughts

By Arlene Malaspina
The Bible says that there was a FIRST “Adam” and a SECOND “Adam”.

I Cor.15:45….”And so it is written, ‘The FIRST man Adam was made a living soul; the LAST Adam (Jesus) was made a quickening spirit.”

Vs.47…”The FIRST man (Adam) is of the earth, earthy: the SECOND man (Jesus) is the Lord from heaven.”

Vs. 49…”And as we have borne the image of the earthy (Adam/Eve), we shall also bear the image of the heavenly (Jesus Christ/Church).”

For nearly 4,000 years there was not another “Adam” born on earth until the birth of the Christ Child, Jesus. So, why are “Adam” and Jesus Christ compared with each other?

Adam was created as an “earthy” man (made of the “dust” of the ground), but he was also given the living “spirit” of God until he “fell”. Jesus was created as a “Holy Spirit” (Holy Thing….Luke 1:35) by God, but He was also birthed through human flesh (Mary).

Both were created by God alone. Nobody else, before or since, has been.

A part (rib/bone) which was INSIDE Adam was taken out by God and made into what Adam called a “woman” (Gen.2:23) because she was born with a “womb” to bear children. Adam named every creature on earth, even the woman, as directed by God (Gen 1:19). Later, Adam called her “Eve” (the mother of all living).

When God created “man” (Adam), he contained BOTH “male and female” within the one body….see Gen 1:27. The “woman” was the part of Adam which was “earthy/carnal”. Adam was the part that contained the living “Spirit of God”. More on that later….

Both Adam and Eve contained the “living Spirit” of God, but the woman was presented as the “fleshy/carnal” spirit that had been removed from Adam (rib…”bone”).

This continues to be a mystery unsolved by most of those with Biblical expertise. But, Jesus did tell us that a “spirit” doesn’t have “bones”. See Luke 24:39. Eve was made with a “bone”. That bone was “carna/fleshy” (of the body) and not “spiritual.

Adam still contained the living “spirit of God” within UNTIL he chose to eat of the “forbidden” fruit…Gen. 2:17; 3:6. Then his “spirit” within died, and only the “carnal” flesh remained. Their “spirit” died, but the flesh did not. Now they needed blood to nourish their flesh in order to continue living, (Lev. 17:11), but that day they BEGAN to die….Gen.2:17. God then gave “skin” to cover their bodies….Gen 3:21. It was now “human” skin with which all mankind is born.

The bible is told to us in PARABLES. See Matthew 13:34. Each story has a deep, spiritual meaning. We have to search out this hidden meaning. Prov. 25:2. The whole bible is the story (parable) about Mankind , his fall from grace , and then his restoration back to God. This applies to the Old Testament as well as the New Testament. God never changes….Hebrews 13:8. Jesus Christ (God) in the NT is the same as God (Holy Spirit) in the OT. And God has told us the whole story in “parables”.

From “Eve”(carnal thinking) we all inherited the nature of doing evil (sinning). That’s why she is called “the mother of all living”….Gen.3:20. Since then, ALL have been born with only the “earthy/carnal” flesh and a “dead” spirit…covered by skin and held up by bone.

Until the time of our Lord Jesus Christ……

Jesus changed the destiny of all of Mankind when He said, “It is finished!”…John 19:30. He accomplished what Adam had failed to do; that is, to have total FAITH in God alone.

Jesus then returned to His Father when He had completed the work for which He was sent to do. After His resurrection, He sent His Holy Spirit to seek His “bride” (like Isaac received Rebekah through the work of Eliezer…Gen.24:51). This gathering of His “bride” by the Holy Spirit of God began on the day of Pentecost and will continue until the day of our resurrection. The Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus is still in obedience to God, the Father, and it is God who does the choosing. See John 6:44.

When we are “born of the Spirit” we have received the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus, and we become part of Him. He (Christ Jesus) is the Head and we are His “body”…..Col.1:18. He has already come…to be WITHIN US….Luke 17:21.

In effect, we are like the FIRST Adam. We have the living Spirit of God leading us from within, but we also have the “carnal” spirit of the flesh (earthy) within us as well (our “Eve”). We can choose to have faith in God alone or to follow man’s teachings. We call this our “conscience”. Whether we are born, in this life, as a “man” or a “woman”, we are ALL as Paul relates to himself in Romans chapter 7:22-23…

“For I delight in the law of God after the INWARD man (the re-born spirit that Adam lost): (Vs.23) But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my MIND, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.” This is the “flesh vs. the spirit” within us.

Delighting in the law of God DOES NOT mean strictly following the “Ten Commandments”. That is part of OT law. Jesus clarified how we “obey” God in the NT:

Mark 12:29-31…….”The FIRST of all the commandments is, ‘Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is *ONE Lord: (vs.30) And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all they heart, and with all they soul, and with all thy mind, and with all they strength’: this is the FIRST commandment. (vs.31) And the SECOND is like, namely this, ‘Thou shall love thy neighbour as thyself.’ There is none other commandment greater than these.”
*[Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit are ONE God, not three (3). We can’t “see” God (Father), but He once appeared to us as the “Son”.(flesh). And the Holy Spirit of God is His (Father/Son) unseen power and strength as compared to the “wind”….John 3:8. It is wrong to think of God as “three” different entities as many do…see John 10:30.]

Each of us is actually waging our own wars WITHIN our minds because Jesus told us that “the Kingdom of God is WITHIN you.”….Luke 17:21. We each fight our own “devils” from within. This is the spirit of evil, the “great red dragon”, the “adversary” (Ps. 74:10), or “Satan” (Mt. 16:23) within all of us. God created this “evil” within us in order to test us…Isaiah 45:7. There is NOTHING existing that God did not create, Himself.

What will the conclusion be like? Nobody know for sure how it will happen, but we are told in I Thessalonians 2:7:

” For the mystery of iniquity (our carnal-thinking minds) doth already work (in all of us): only He (God) who letteth will let (allows this), until he (our carnal minds and spirit of evil…the devil in all of us), be taken out of the way (removed from us by God at our resurrection).” For “We shall ALL be changed…in the twinkling of an eye…..” I Cor.15:51-52

Vs. 8-10…”And then shall that Wicked (the evil spirit within all of us) be revealed (our eyes shall be opened and the “scales” removed ….Acts 9:18), whom the Lord shall consume with the Spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy (the wickedness within us all) with the brightness of His coming:….”

“Satan” (the adversary within the mind’s of all Mankind) will be consumed and destroyed. We, the Church, (“lively stones” …I Pet.2:5) will be gathered into the “New Jerusalem” as the prepared “bride adorned for her husband” (Christ Jesus). “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God?”….I Cor. 3:16.

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”….Rev. 21:4

We shall again be as it was before the time of Eve….we shall be “all in all” with God….I Cor.15:28.

Again, the story of “Adam and Eve” is a parable. It is not just the story of two people…it is the story of the birth of “Mankind” and how we were separated from God. Jesus had never been separated from His Father until the time of His betrayal. His grief was so great that He sweat drops of blood. This was not caused by fear of what would happen to Him. He agonized because He was now alone without the Father. …Luke 22:44. He had “become sin” for us, and God cannot be in the presence of sin. Jesus was alone for the first time….ever!

II Cor. 5:21….For He (God, the Father) hath made Him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin (Jesus); that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.”

Praise God! “It is Finished!” Those the the most beautiful words ever spoken!!

It’s with great difficulty that most of us can comprehend “spiritual” things. These things can only come through the guidance of the Holy Spirit within. And sometimes there are others who can help to clarify this difficult subject. Nobody has ALL the answers, but one who has many is Elwin Roach.
Article by Elwin Roach:

Traditional teaching sees the snake as being LITERAL, and its ability to speak is explained as a puppet used by Satan to get his message over!! This theory is the product of the carnal mind of man and has no connection with TRUTH. The Hebrew word here translated “Serpent” comes from a primitive root “Nachash” and according to Strong”s means :- enchantment or to practice divination or fortune telling. All psychic functions are the product of the MIND, which means that this “serpent” is the parabolic figure which represents the NATURAL MIND OF MAN. No one can argue that the MIND of MAN is more subtle than any beast of the field, the Lion, or the Tiger or any other predator. These animals have such tremendous ability to out wit and over come their prey, and yet God says the human mind is MORE SUBTLE than all these.

Even children can become very clever at deceiving their parents if they choose to, and criminals become masters of deception, often evading capture for years and some are clever enough to remain free. To set the stage for this Test to see if Adam would be faithful to God, he was put to sleep. While he slept a Spiritual change took place within him, as the Soul which is the female part of all mankind was separated from Adam or the SPIRIT which is MALE. To help us understand this Spiritual operation the parable presents the “Soul” as a separate female identity with ADAM (not GOD) calling her EVE. Remember God called T-H-E-M ADAM, but now in this parable we see TWO people in the Garden, Adam who is male and Eve who is female and we are told they were naked.

This word “Naked” is from a Hebrew Root `aram meaning to be subtle, be shrewd, or to be crafty. So we can see that this “woman” has the same quality as the “serpent.” The SOUL as represented by the “woman” involves the Mind, Emotions and the Will. So it becomes clear that the test involves the MIND’S functions and ability. Notice that in the New Testament there is no mention of EVE being the one that sinned! It is always ADAM who sinned, and yet in the parable, Eve is on her own conducting a conversation within her MIND which is represented as the snake. Eve is reported as seeing, desiring and eating the forbidden fruit, and not Adam. Why is this?

Notice carefully, God never called “them” ADAM and EVE! When God went looking for them he only called A-D-A-M, because every MAN is created MALE and FEMALE. Gen 1: 27. There are no exceptions to this for it is the divine order. Now this poses a problem for us with our distorted view of MALE and FEMALE, so hear what the Spirit is saying to us. Every person regardless of their gender is in fact MALE and FEMALE. This means that IN every person on the planet there is a SPIRIT which is GOD, and that SPIRIT is MALE. However there is also IN every person a SOUL and that soul is by creation the FEMALE part of our being. The SOUL is the Mind, Emotions and the Will, which like the Spirit is an invisible part of our being and is often referred to as the HEART.

“The HEART is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked, who can know it.” Jer 17:9. “For out of the HEART proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness and blasphemies. ” Matt 15:19. No wonder we are told that the “serpent” is more subtle than any beast of the field.

If you have ears to hear you will hear what the Spirit is saying to us today despite the distortion of generations of feminism and a myriad other false concepts concerning sexuality. We are actually still living the PARABLE of Genesis, considering male and female to be different creations, thinking MEN coming from MARRS and WOMEN from VENUS. Beloved, only the Spirit of the Lord can lift our vision to see the reality of that which we presently see merely as physical. In the Hebrew the man is called “ISH” and the woman “ISHA”. (ISHAW)

Isha was taken out of Ish, and when in the parable God brought the woman to the man, Adam said, “This is now BONE of my BONES, and FLESH of my FLESH, and she will be called Isha because she was taken out of Ish. However when God created man he did not make TWO PEOPLE for they were male and female yet they were ONE. It is easy to see how confused the natural mind of man has become over the issue of male and female. Don’t speak of who should dominate who, or who should be in charge for the TWO ARE ONE. Marriage is but a continuation of the parable of Genesis allowing us to manifest in the physical world the glory of that unity God created in the beginning.

In the natural realm we understand normally a woman cannot produce offspring without the man, and man cannot produce except he become one with the woman. However in the Spiritual realm we discover in the parable in Genesis, that the woman (soul) wandered away from the man (spirit) and united with the snake, or the mind, determining she could achieve God status by exploring a knowledge system God had warned Adam about, the knowledge of Good and Evil. Adam convinced himself that this knowledge held the key to being God in his own right thus deposing God from his rightful position as Lord of the garden.

If we are correct in assuming the whole story of the Garden of Eden is PARABLE, then it must be relevant to every man today, and find its fulfillment in every LIFE. First of all, most people live by the principle that if a thing is good then I will do it, but if it is evil then I will not touch it. This is regarded by most Christians as the way God meant us to live. However we need to be reminded that God said the day you eat or participate in the Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil, YOU WILL DIE. Why then do people live by that forbidden tree? The answer is that everybody has believed the SERPENTS LIE, and believe we can be AS GOD by eating of that tree!!

This means that everyone has had the same conversation with the snake as Eve had, with the same effect. The “snake” being the carnal mind of man, which is more subtle than any beast of the field. This natural mind convinces us our life is pretty good, because we don’t smoke or drink or beat our wife or commit adultery etc, so we must be OK. It says to us, “HATH GOD SAID you will surely die?” After all, we are alive and doing well so it cannot be true that if we eat of that tree WE WILL SURELY DIE. Here is the next issue, every man believes he is a sinner and therefore NAKED before God. Exactly the same as Adam in the garden.

The verse most quoted is, “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Rom 3:23. As a result of this concept we believe God is angry with us and we must appease him in some way, because we believe we have been cast out of the Garden also and so we look for a way around the flaming sword. We see God behind our sickness and problems and feel this to be punishment for our failures. Thus deep in our subconscious we HIDE FROM GOD.

#############

That is why Christ tells us to “Seek the Lord” we must stop hiding and begin seeking and continue seeking Him in all matters of our lives.

Thank you dear friend for sharing your thoughts …a blessing for all those who read it.

JESUS IS ALL AND EVERYTHING!!!
