Jesus is the Source of all!

Hello all!

Long time since I wrote last.  Many things have been happening with me that needed to be addressed before I begin this new adventure of writing my first book.  There are some areas of my life that I needed to take the log out of my own eye before beginning to attempt to take the splinter out of others eyes in the form of walking my talk and and letting the Source fill and empty me.

I am so excited to have found all the outside puzzle pieces of this greatest mystery of all time.  I have the Big Picture and now I begin the journey to fill in the fine lines.  I know what has helped me most is knowing the difference between Truth and religion and how that plays out throughout the Bible and the History of man.  Jesus truly is All and Everything!  He is in every puzzle piece just as He is in every book of the Bible. I will be learning as I am writing and that is the best part of all.

Yet before I pick up where I left off in my series entitled “Jesus is All and Everything”, I found a poem, among the many I have written over the years, that reminded me of what I was learning in 1987…over 30 years ago, that still rings so true to this day.

Not to be earned, nor made up
this awesome gift from the divine.
With my heavenly host I’m beginning to sup
On truth and love sublime.

So caught up in only me
I didn’t understand the facade,
until the shock of loss, gracefully, set me free
to feel Your light dear God.

I pray to have the power,
to be happy in place and time, yet,
without You in my life every hour
I wither on the Vine;

Low! I am a sinner!
But why sin twice
with guilt self-pity and remorse?
When the joy I can live
is the best I can give
returning it to the Source.

I had no idea that fear
was at the root of all desire.
Yet, I cannot compare my meager conception
to the grace that you transpire.

Through the maze of self-deceit
I tried to control my direction,
until I found laying burdens at Your feet
the only perfection.

As You remind what life deems
without Your love light coming through,
I pray to become the empty cup
that you fill up with the wine of love and truth.

Low! I am a sinner!
But why sin twice
with guilt self-pity and remorse?
When the joy I can live
is the best I can give
returning it to the Source.

#1 on my list of 77 in my series “Jesus is All and Everything”

Hello all!

This is the very first article in my “Jesus is All and Everything” series. I am going to share my position on this subject and what I have gathered from my research and Bible studies. There actually is some very good articles out there, written by very learned believers, and I encourage you to search the web on this subject so you can continue to find out for yourself.

I believe that the Bible is a completed work. There is nothing more to be added or taken away and all has been fulfilled. I guess it could be compared to a novel or even a fairy tale, in the sense it has a beginning and an end. Not to be trite about “the Greatest Story ever told”, but to show how there is a “once upon a time” and a “happily ever after”.

The book of Genesis is the “once upon a time” that begins in the Garden of Eden. And the Book of Revelation is the “happily ever after” where all mankind shall partake of the Tree of Life.

The Tree of Life in Genesis (Once Upon a Time…)

Gen 2:9
And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Gen 2:16
And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

Gen 2:17
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of
it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
No matter what futurists may say it is obvious that when God created the Tree of Life he intended for mankind to eat from this tree. Adam and Eve definitely had access to it before the Fall. The Tree of Life was in the center of the Garden as a main sustainer of Life and if Adam and Eve did not sin they would have eaten from this tree daily and lived forever.

Tree of Life = Truth (Christ)
Tree of the knowledge of good and evil = Religion (Self)

Tree of Life leads to eternal life through Christ.
Tree of the knowledge of good and evil leads to death.

Tree of Life = oneness with God. There is no “self” apart from God
Tree of the knowledge of good and evil leads to knowledge of a “self” (ego) apart from God, wanting to be their own “god”.

The first man Adam was barred from this tree after he sinned against God.

(Genesis 3:22-24)

“And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.”

Upon eating the forbidden fruit, Adam was cursed with toil until he returned to the dust of the earth, then driven from the garden and prohibited from partaking of the Tree of Life.

This prohibiting Adam from eating from the Tree of Life prevented him from trying to live forever, and an act of mercy from God keeping Adam from living forever physically (not spiritually) under the curse.

The Tree of Life is also associated with a very unique river a river that not only waters the Garden of the Lord but it was the source of four other rivers. This unique river is the source of “the Water of Life” flowing to all corners of the earth as mentioned Psalms 46:4 and Eze 47:12.

Psalms 46:4
“There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.”

Ezek 47:12
“And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.”

We see this association continue in the New Testament in John 4:10-11, 7:38.

Jhn 4:10
“Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.”

Jhn 4:11
“The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?”

Jhn 7:38
“He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”

The Tree of Life in Revelation (Happily Ever After…)

We read in the Book of Genesis how Paradise is lost and man barred from the Tree of Life. In the Book of Revelation we read where Paradise is restored with a “new heaven and a new earth” with the Tree of Life in the midst of the New Jerusalem.

Rev 2:7
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.”

Rev 22:2
“In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”

Rev 22:14
“Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.”

What an amazing story and the most amazing thing is that it is NOT a fairy tale it is the Truth! Jesus is the Tree of Life that heals the nations and we who believe in Him out of us will flow His river of “living water”.

In closing I would just like to mention how important it is to see the Word of God (the Bible) as a completed work. Once one researches enough and sees how uncomplicated it really is to understand, their eyes are opened and all the symbolism of the Word falls into place. To be honest, I cannot ever imagine going back to believing that there is any future story to be told. The Greatest Story Ever Told has been told!

The Joy I feel in knowing (without a shadow of a doubt) that what Jesus did is a “done deal”, and that God’s plan succeeded so totally and perfectly, supersedes the 40 years of wondering on a desert trail. The trail through denominations and the traditions of men, wondering lost down so many paths in search of the Truth. It was all worth it and I am so full of love of Him that I cannot stop myself from writing about what He has taught me. It is really a marvel to FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF!

God is perfect and His timing is perfect and…

( A poem)

Man made the Truth complicated,
God would never do a thing like that!
Humans wanted to change their history
by making it a mystery
no one could understand.
That is just the opposite
of what God had planned.

The “created” decided
to create a Creator,
of their own choice,
so they could hear the shouts of men
above God’s still small voice.

Man made the Bible scary,
full of darkness across the land,
making a child of God leery,
least they get buried in the sand.
The sand of ritual and dogma,
shutting out all the Light.

So that those who live in His Kingdom
must learn how to fight.

Fight the good fight with glory,
Fight the good fight with love.
With their hearts ever knowing
all their strength and glory
comes from above.

From the King of all creation,
from the Prince of peace,
everyone that shall know Him,
shall find a wonderful release.
Release from the prisons,
release from the pains,
ever overcoming
by giving Christ the reigns.

The choice is always one of fear or love…and we make those kinds of choices everyday. It does seem that the world around us operates more on fear than love, and that most seem more fascinated with eating of the tree of knowledge of good and evil than eating of the Tree of Life.

I wrote this poem only a few days ago and wanted to put it on before I started my “Jesus is All and Everything” series of articles to show another aspect of how the Truth verses religion. And also because my first article will be about Jesus being the Tree of Life.

May He have His arms around you!
