TRUTH VERSES RELIGION
(The Seal of God verses the Mark of the Beast)
Hello all,
A person’s INDIVIDUAL walk with Christ is anything but a “religion”!!!! Religion is the mirror image of the Truth!! It looks a lot like it, but is totally the reverse. Instead of being saved by the redeeming blood of Christ, which is the only Truth, religion is just the opposite. Without a personal relationship with the Creator, the only other avenue is to become as a “god’, and try and redeem your own ‘self’. Self-Sacrifice verses Self Help!!!!
Simplified completely; one worships the Creator and HIS Truth, and the other worships the created and makes this worship a religion.
In the Holy Bible, the Lord uses the word “religion” only 5 times in only 3 chapters, and only in the NEW TESTAMENT. This word is not used once in the whole of the OLD TESTAMENT!! It is never used in a good or godly context, but as something to more or less avoid. The word is defined in Strong’s Concordance as; a ceremonial observance, demonstrative and pious. These are all outward behaviors, mostly used to describe the Jew’s religion; the traditions of men (the outside of the cup). Here are the verses:
Act 26:5 “Which knew me from the beginning, if they would testify, that after the most straitest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee.”
Gal 1:13 and Gal 1:14 “For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it: And profited in the Jews’ religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.”
Jam 1:26 and Jam 1:27 “ If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion [is] vain. Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, [and] to keep himself unspotted from the world.”
AMERICA
Looking back throughout the history of America as a country, I do not think that it was ever an exclusively Christian country, not in the sense of born again Christ- likeness. After finding out about our founding fathers, and their Freemasonry and Illuminati background, how America was to become the New Atlantis and all the occult symbols on our money; there is little doubt what most Americans are worshiping.
In fact, carrying around this money on our persons… (In our hands), or being totally obsessed with gaining or losing this money…. (In our foreheads on our minds)…this is easily, and without a doubt, the SPIRITUAL MARK OF THE BEAST!!!!
It speaks about what we either think and/or do. We either think about Christ and give our lives to Him, and then go and become more like Him; or we think about ourselves and how to get rich, and then go out and do whatever it takes to accomplish that.
The end-time mark of the beast may become a physical tattoo or implant, but it will, totally, be based on what we think and do. What we think, with the mind, in our foreheads, or do with our hands; that is the mark.
If we are sealed by the Holy Spirit we have the mark of Christ on our foreheads and on our hands. We worship in Spirit by being in dwelt by the HOLY SPIRIT and in TRUTH by showing that truth in the acts and deeds of our lives.
WE ALREADY HAVE ONE MARK OR THE OTHER!!!
Yet, mercifully there is still time in this age of Grace to change that Spiritual mark of the beast to the spiritual sealing of God. But, when one takes the mark physically and are fully committed to choosing their physical life, here in this world, over God; there will no longer be a choice or a chance at salvation, and eternal life. That is the line that the Lord has drawn in the sand.
I do not think that there was one moment in American history where all Americans felt content with what they had, but just the opposite. We all wanted more, more, more….take more, give less and less. Of course, there have been many brave, honest and decent people, many of which were born again Christians, in the true sense. But the great majority has been greedy, power hungry antichrists, only giving when it added to their fame; and this includes most of our, so-called, leaders and role models.
PRIDE IS OUR MIDDLE NAME HERE IN AMERICA…IT IS THROWN UP TO US AS THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF OUR NATION!!!
This is not Christ-like in any way, at all!!!! In fact it is Satan’s middle name, as well. Who have we been worshiping in reality? We have become the most spoiled rotten people on the earth…truly SPOILED ROTTEN. Through and through!!! The poor preyed upon to serve this rottenness by dying in wars fought for the rich and privileged, for power, greed, or just to try out their new toys!!! It is because of the great privileges this nation has been granted, that we have been blinded….we have chased the glitter and the gold and left Jesus Christ in the dust.
America was the richest nation in the world…maybe still is…and now we will be destroyed by it. Our prosperity has been our greatest stumbling block to becoming a truly Christian nation. Instead of wanting to find God and live a life for Him, we want to be rich and live our lives for our worldly gain, fame and pride!!! Jesus tells us that it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to make it into Heaven. Do riches always make us happy??
We have not only stopped searching for the Lord, we have totally turned our back on Him, and have done it with a great deal of American pride. Those poor people who live in huts in Africa are much better off than we are…we know the Truth and have shunned it; and they, when exposed to it, grab it with both hands and recognize it easily. No wonder missionaries go to these countries…and want to leave a country that is much harder to evangelize the Truth to.
Here are the Bible verses that speak of the sealing of God and the mark of the beast.
GOD’S SEAL:
2Ti 2:19 “Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”
Rev 7:2 “And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,”
Rev 7:3 “Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.”
Rev 9:4 “And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.”
BEAST’S MARK
Rev 13:17 “And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”
Rev 16:2 “And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and [upon] them which worshiped his image.”
Rev 20:4 “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and [I saw] the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received [his] mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”
The Ten Commandments had more to do with a man’s physical life and his physical actions. Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not worship idols etc. The New Covenant with Christ was much more spiritual, in nature, and much more difficult to keep!! If we even think about murder we are guilty of it, if we even think about adultery, we are guilty of it. The only way to not break these commandments is to have a RENEWED MIND in having given our mind to Christ. Anyone who says that this is doable on their own is not telling the truth!!
I have found it very helpful to look at the Spiritual side of all the important verses about the end times, because we live under the NEW COVENANT and must be born again in order to know the TRUTH. This is crucial!!!
How blessed we are to have a renewed mind and to have given our lives to Jesus…there are no worldly rewards that can possibly compare to this. Our struggles in this life have actually taught us our greatest lessons.
It is important that we do not teach Christianity as a religion, but must teach it as THE TRUTH!!
Christ told us boldly that “I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE”.
Jhn 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Let us encourage people to find out this truth before it is too late. Make sure they know the difference; you are not preaching a religion, you are preaching and teaching the Truth, and there is a vast difference! I pray we all have the strength to do just that, in Christ’s name and love.
